hi walaa my name is Avşin. A little different than you ive been drawing since I'm a kid but you know what without training I'm still at the beginner level and its exciting that we've got a long way to go. I'm in medical school now. I'm there just for the diploma and for my parents. I will not become a doctor and right now I'm training to become an artist. Pls don't think about quitting or the future just embrace the moment you're in. Instead of questioning yourself, lead your questions towards how can you have a better strategy for drawing https://www.instagram.com/avshindraw/ this is my instagram, and im also challenging myself to draw everyday. Let's practice together <3 you may also want to watch these videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0ufz75UvHs&t=1281s&pp=ygUSxLF0ZXJhdGl2ZSBkcmF3aW5n https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egCx3dgGYDI&t=2805s&pp=ygUSxLF0ZXJhdGl2ZSBkcmF3aW5n I used to cant nail the proportions of the face at all. I kept things super simple and drew 20 heads a day. Since a kept things simple It didn't take much time to draw a head. In two weeks a saw visible results here is the first 20 and last 20. Sycras way does work. Im so excited to draw with you!

I see you choose raccoons because you like them, so I advise you to take notes about what appearance or behavior you like about them before sitting down to draw. So you can exaggerate or focus on those charactesıstıcs Nıce to see Rigby.

since you draw digitally, you can lower the opacity of your drawings and lay them on top of the reference photo. Being able to check the proportions easily is one of the biggest advantages of digital drawing so make sure you use it

GUYS LISTEN UP !!! I just found a really cool way to practıse anatomy and wanted to share it with you! You can use 3d models and put them on top of the actual model. It works with the head, muscles, skeleton, and more... Any other ideas how this method can be used?

I feel like it is too early to start shading. I dont think you understand the 3d form and planes of the nose very well yet especially the connection of the wing to the bridge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRrXpZNoHmc this video is great for your studies. But other than that i can tell all the noses are different from each other. It ıs nice to see variety <3

Hey Avşin, This is a good exercise to practice to give cloth form. Your drawing is reading as pretty flat because your values are not describing the forms. Remember, when the form turns away from the light it gets darker in a gradual way. The folds in the cloth almost look like rolling mountains. So what I did is do a drawing to show you some of the steps I use to rendering forms like this. I hope it helps :)

Hi @Avşin , I am definitely seeing form/structure in this drawing! Especially in some of the lower parts of the cloth, like in the lower left corner--you did a nice job showing that twisting 3D form. What I think really makes it look 3D for me is the reflected light you put in the shadows of the form. I think if you added more reflected light into the top of the cloth, where that big peak is, it would have more structure. Plus, I think moving that shadow higher and darkening the terminator (the darkest line of the shadow where the light meets the shadow) would add to the structure. And I think lightening parts of the cast shadow (that band of dark on the left side of the drawing) would make the big peak of cloth stand out. But other than that, I'm impressed by the beautiful structure you've got so far!
