My initial attempt seemed to have too many curved lines, so the next drawing, I forced myself to pretty much only use straight lines to convey the structure.

Thanks proko for putting this on. Congratulations for everyone that participated. A friendly reminder for people, if your work wasn't selected. That doesn't mean anything about your skill. Everyone has different tastes and just participating means that you are most likely a better artist than before. Continue learning and doing art for yourself. Well done all. The community turn out was amazing 👏

Hey, I really enjoyed these exercises. The first sketch I did was 5 mins and was a bit bland. As I did more, I loosened up and started to exaggerate more and more. For the long drawing I wanted to tackle the first attempt I did. I finished it within 15 mins then brought it into procreate to color.

Wibble Wobbles
Can anyone provide some advice on the drawing the hips? I find that part of the body to be very difficult to draw.

I like to use the rhythms from the reilly method for the hips. Usually it's a hidden line from the neck to the top of the pelvis. Only becoming visible once it passes the ribcage. The second line continues from the top of the pelvis, and extends to the greater trochanter. Hope this helps.

I thought I'll create a thread of my anatomy quicketches. These range from 3mins to 20mins. As always, critiques are always welcomed.
