Here’s my submission!
Sketch done in 30 minutes with 6 very basic water-based markers, micron pen and white ink pen. That's it!

This is a fantasy and D&D-inspired story!
This sequence starts at the climax of the story: a mage and his apprentice tracked down Malevolous, an evil necromancer, and the main antagonist, to an ominous cave. They run through the cavern's corridors until they have him cornered... or so they think. It's a trap! He led them directly to the resting place of a tribe of mighty warriors. Using an ancient and accursed amulet, he raises them from the dead, bursting through the ground, to attack our heroes!

Attempt 2 at a story! This is still in its early stages.
This storyboard starts at the climax of the story: a warlock/mage and his apprentice tracked down the main antagonist, an evil necromancer, to an ominous cave. They run through the cavern's corridors until they have him cornered... or so they think. It's a trap! He led them directly to the resting place of a tribe of mighty warriors... Whom he raises from the dead to battle our heroes, using an ancient and accursed amulet (a demon's skull)!
I'm planning on adding one or two more frames. Let me know if the frames are coherent and tell the story clearly enough. The drawings and lighting are still rough, but it's an indication of how it will look once it's finished. If you have any other suggestions, please reply to this submission.

Hi everyone! here are 5 pages from the comic that I will be submitting for this challenge. I want to use 3 or 4 for the final submission, so if anyone has an opinion as to which of these pages are strongest, please let me know. I do want the pages I submit to be consecutive so that it still conveys a linear story, so keep that in mind. I will eventually be lettering these pages, but I am considering submitting them without any text. Please tell me if you think lettering is necessary. Also, if you have any suggestions/criticisms related to the drawings themselves, don't hesitate to tell me! I am still looking to make changes at this stage in the drawing. These pages are all done using a brush pen on 9x12 bristol board. The pages are attached in order. Thank you!

These are very cool! I honestly think they're all good and contribute to the story. You don't "need" dialogue since the illustrations are clear enough so you can understand what's going on, but they would contribute to adding personality to the characters. I would also add some sound effects. I think the poses (balance and anatomy) still need a bit of work. The character's expression in the last panel of the second page is confusing to me, I don't quite get what you were going for, because he looks like he's sad, or unimpressed... a kinda blank expression. In the panel where the gorilla is in mid-air, he needs to be more centered and, since it's an important panel, take more time to make the perspective and pose as strong as you can. The characters' skin and environment would benefit greatly from some type of shading since they look very flat right now (especially the ground), it would help to sell the environment better: a desert in the middle of the day (very bright, with strong shadows). Decide where your light is coming from and draw the shadows accordingly. Best of luck!
