Hey everyone, I tried 2 things here to improve my understanding 1. rotating the mannequinn in space 2. Add the torso anatomy on top of the mannequin I would more than appreciate any feedback on these
@gwench
I think it depends on what youre're after, if you plan on doing concept art you'll probably mostly deal with neutral faces as you said so I don't think it's necesarry. However if you plan on doing something like animation or illustration I think it's quite essential

Hey gwench, I really like your mannequins, you draw them a lot like the way I do, they look very solid and 3D. The one thing that I noticed is that you are missing the downward tilt of the pelvis and the areas where there is a pinch or twist. I did a draw over to show you what I mean. Keep up the good work, these are cool :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to demonstrate that! I really appreciate that and I can't believe I never realised that before you said it.

i suggest practicing gestures more and trying to observe and exaggerate the poses more. you seem to follow the contour well but there's scope for improvment in the gestural part.

Hi gwench! These figures look great. I like how the bold linework gives the figures visual weight, especially in the torso. Cheers!

looks to me like you did a good job. Only thing I notice is that some of those are prette stiff. Notice that you can introduce gesture to these Mannequinns by squishing, stretching and bending the 3d forms

Hey everyone! I've been going through Figure fundementals, here are my mannequins and I would really like some feedback
@gwench
Looking good! I'm still going the course as well but here are the mistakes I see: Make sure the "soft mass" between the ribcage and the pelvis really connects and interacts with them, on some of them your's look like a silhouette that you slapped on afterwards; which undermines the structure.
