Fun assignment, I did my best to stay away from slipping too far in to my standard drawing process and focus more on line quality.

This assignment was more difficult than I expected! It makes for a great warmup.

I ended up doing both levels as I wasn't sure which camp I belonged in. The pear worked out to be a nice warm-up for the level 2 portrait so I may double up for future assignments as well. Here are both illustrations along with the reference. Both done using a prismacolor ebony pencil on 14"x17" sketch paper. Any feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Hi everyone! This is my submission for the Storytelling Challenge. It is a 7-page short story titled, "APE." I am planning on lettering it, but for now I wanted to submit it without any words since this challenge is about storytelling using art. Each page is done with a black Fudenosuke brush pen on 9x12 bristol board. For a bit of context, the story is about a gorilla who is essentially a hitman (or hit-ape, if you will), and has been assigned to take out two men who have been perpetually robbing a trade route in the desert. I will probably expand it at some point, so think of this as the opening scene.

This entry is a original story created by a 13 yr old me , i have really wanted to create comics so i have tried my best to pull this off 'Silencers' is the story that ive prepared for this entry , the story is about some specific people getting assigned for handling others emotions (called silencers) and getting paid as they have to fight an inner demon meaning the emotion itself , the main character of the story is one of the silencers who has an enormous desire for money and does it all just for money as he's chosed due to the same reason because of his anger and greed so hes chosen to fight the emotion 'anger'

Hi everyone! here are 5 pages from the comic that I will be submitting for this challenge. I want to use 3 or 4 for the final submission, so if anyone has an opinion as to which of these pages are strongest, please let me know. I do want the pages I submit to be consecutive so that it still conveys a linear story, so keep that in mind. I will eventually be lettering these pages, but I am considering submitting them without any text. Please tell me if you think lettering is necessary. Also, if you have any suggestions/criticisms related to the drawings themselves, don't hesitate to tell me! I am still looking to make changes at this stage in the drawing. These pages are all done using a brush pen on 9x12 bristol board. The pages are attached in order. Thank you!
