First time taking a Proko challenge and I had a lot of fun! It was also a great digital art practice for me since I work more traditional but I wanted my digital drawing skills to catch up. So here's Trumpet Figgy of the Forest, a.k.a. Demogorgon's musician brother lol! Going through the references, The first thing that caught my eye was the fig fruit and pareidolia kicked in, it looked like some monster duck face. When I saw the trumpet, the fig face made much more sense and that's when I locked in the main concept: a forest monster playing a trumpet. The next phase I had to work on was the monster's body. I played around with using the statue, the lemur, and the broken mannequin references but it felt like too obvious I guess. So I decided to go for a Groot-like body to flow with fig face and I used the mushrooms as accents to the body. Lastly, I added the rock so that Figgy was sitting and make him feel like lonely of being alone or something. Anyway I did have fun and I would probably try another one even after the challenge for my own practice. Hope I could also get some feedback. Thanks!

Hello to everyone! First time on this challenge. Always wanted to draw a flying lemur. So this was the best opportunity... I had lots of fun with this one. Ink on paper and digitally colored. Hope you all like it!
