Thank you , Stan and the whole Proko team for all the hard work of putting on a great challenge. The videos alone were full of great information and content. Also, Wow a David Finch course, I am a huge fan of his, besides Proko videos, his videos are some of my most played while I draw.

Day 12 and 100th post! So happy to have done all 12 days. Was hoping to finish a little stronger with my comic page. Will revisit and/or finish it. Did 5 minute warmups and tried to create a comic book page, over estimated my ability and time. Still happy with what I learned over this challenge.

Did 10 minute structure studies. Trying to remember the rule about contour lines wrapping around cylinders. I know I recently saw Stan talking about it in a video but I watched so much recently I can’t remember.

5 minute gestures and 2 minute gestures to warmup. Really tried to follow Stan’s instructions but I have always struggled with gesture. Guess I’ll have to just keep practicing. lol

Not at home, so limited on supplies and time. Used “phone version” of the timer (it’s a little different) but worked great and easy for on the go. Did a 30 minute sketch using blue and red lead to separate flesh from armor.

Here are two of my anatomy studies (15 min). I will definitely dive deeper into this topic. Unfortunately, I can't take participate in today's lifestream, but I will make up for it.

Did a one hour study and the others are 5minute warmups. Really like the warmup with a sword, going to revisit that one later. PS: if it looks like I post it twice, it’s because I tried earlier and now don’t see it. 🤷‍♂️

My attempts, after some mushroom warmups. Love the timer and that we can use it with the model pack we’ve already bought.

Asked for help
Been looking forward to this assignment, since i’ve been going to a weekly life drawing session (uninstructed) and starting to feel more confident. Unfortunately I started getting frustrated at the beginning of the assignment and had to remember Stan’s advice and remember it’s a process. Tried to have more confident lines, instead of scratchy searching lines. Most definitely felt more confident by the last drawings, still have a long way to go.

Fun assignment. It’s really challenging to keep the pose and gesture loose and dynamic when you start adding a few details. It’s amazing how rigid the drawings can start to feel. I hope that some of the movement and dynamism was captured in these.

Nice work and I like how you tied it to the previous lesson.
