Just a Hello! This is the self portrait I did for the Proko Monthly Contest where you had to create a self portrait in any medium- turned out being one of my favorite pieces ever :3

Hi! My name is Graciela and I'm from Mexico. I've been looking for an online artist community for a while, and after hearing the announcement at the beginning of the week at Proko's channel, I'm glad I finally sign in. I'm looking forward to see everyone's work! I'm a designer at the moment, I love drawing, painting, bright colors, and contrast. Since I do a lot of advertise graphics in my day job, I'm used to work with vectors and I did my digital paintings like that for while, but this past year I've been trying to walk out of my comfort zone and improve my digital painting skills.   I would love to make art my full time job, still not sure what path to take, so for now I'm trying a little bit of everything to see what I like more. I feel kinda stuck at the moment in my art skills, so any critique to improve is highly appreciate it! These are a few of my studies/works from the last 2 years. Hope everyone have an amazing day! ♥

Hi my name is Olga and I'm from Israel. I hope to learn from this community and maybe finally get that "classroom" feeling again. In the last 4 years, I created stylized characters, assets and backgrounds for slot machine games. At my free time I try to improve my fundamentals and finally work on some personal projects to find my true potential. It's really hard but I think I'm on the right path. Hi! I'm Kat, and I'm 13, based in the USA. I've been drawing "seriously" for 2 years while trying to manage my school life as well XD. I looooove history and I like to draw my own characters as well. A lot of my art is based off of the movie "Amadeus", though I frequently draw characters from other movies/time periods/etc, such as French Revolution inspired pieces. I'm not the best at anatomy or color, and I hope to learn more from here before starting my webtoon. I try to make something every 1-3 days to keep my art grind. I hope to have fun with you all here! Edit: My art inspirations are PeanutMGN, Pilzpilzchen, Achooshi, and finnidis on instagram. I also like the color palettes of baroque paintings!

Hello, my name is Marina. I live on the east coast in the US and I'm working as sock designer and packaging designer, though a went to school for illustration. Most of my work involves very small pixels of animals, food and such (for the socks) and graphic design for packaging but what I really love to draw is people. Not sure if I'd try to do it as a career but I'd like to improve my anatomy and painting skills as I've neglected them quite a bit when I started my current job. Rendering and realistic art was never my strength but I won't give up because I still love trying them. Excited to be a part of an art community where I hope to learn and grow as an artists and meet new people.

Nothing like a good intro thread. :) Hey there fellow artists, I'm Levi from Washington State. Mostly been a sketch artists these last few years as I've found myself coming back to a love of art and creating. A lot of my drawing and what painting I do comes from life or imagination and while I'm not 100% sure where I want to go artistically, be it a profession or something else, I do know I want to continue to get better, grow my range of subjects and mediums, and overall make sure that it's always a source of joy for me. That said, I'd love to start stepping my game up and doing more "Finished" work and start taking some of my ideas and creatures a bit further. Someday I'll get a scanner to start scanning things in from my sketchbook but here is a sampling of what I tend to post on instagram, which is where I put most of my work. :) Nice to meet you all.

This was by far the toughest assignment for me...rewatched the video multiple times trying to figure it out. For some reason, trying to use all the landmarks and guidelines didnt seem to simplify the form for me- I ended up with a bucket covered in a mess of plumb lines. I did get some good critique/comments on the Facebook page. The thing I think I could still use a little more help on is how to find the angles of the top plane, and put the asis points in the correct spots(Especially in extreme angles,like tilted way backwards or forwards relative to the view) Also, how to differentiate between the male/female pelvis within the buckets accurately every time. I know the shape of the bucket would change, but I feel like I just guess instead of knowing for sure the difference between the buckets.

Moving these over from the Facebook group. The pelvis was the first section of the course that I really struggled with. Changing a complex form from imagination with different perspective and angles isnt easy!
