Great work B! I love the blue light on the right end of the canvas. I think if you accentuated that light source a little more, perhaps having it reflect on the trees, that would create a great effect. Other than that, I might recommend trying to tighten up your rendering just a little bit, that way the forms are more readable. Other than that, great job.

I think they're very good! The shapes and the values look right to me. As for a instructor for traditional painting, I definitely recommend James Gurney. Check his videos at the youtube. He's very good and didatic!

The technique is definitely good Tiberius!. My only advice would be to add some variety in the size and shape of the trees in the middleground. I don't know how to explain why, but I think that would create a distance feeling in the painting. Att. Breno
